SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy
Effective date: August 21, 2026. Operated by Invite Technologies Inc. (“Skrypt Health”, “we”, “us”). This page documents how consent to receive text messages is collected, recorded, and revoked.
1. Program Summary
| Program | Patient call follow-up and appointment coordination |
|---|---|
| Message sender | The participating healthcare practice you called. Skrypt Health provides the messaging technology and sends on that practice’s behalf. |
| How consent is obtained | Verbal — spoken agreement during a phone call that you placed to the practice. See §2. |
| Message types | Callback and booking coordination, appointment reminders and confirmations, customer support replies, and prescription-request status updates. Informational and transactional only. |
| Marketing | None. This program never sends promotional or marketing messages. |
| Message frequency | Varies. Messages are sent only in response to your call or to your own replies. |
| Cost | Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages. |
| Opt out | Reply STOP at any time. See §6. |
| Help | Reply HELP, or email hello@skrypthealth.ai. |
| Age | Consent is accepted only from the patient or the patient’s parent, guardian, or authorized representative. |
Consent to receive text messages is optional and is never a condition of receiving care, booking an appointment, or obtaining any other service from a participating practice. Declining changes nothing about the care or the callback you asked for.
2. How Verbal Consent Is Collected
Consent is collected verbally, during a phone call that you initiate to a participating practice. Calls are answered by the practice’s receptionist or by the practice’s AI phone assistant, operated by Skrypt Health on the practice’s behalf. We do not place outbound calls to solicit consent, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone lists.
Before any message is sent, the person or assistant handling the call identifies the practice by name and asks for permission using the following script:
“Would you like to receive text messages from [practice name] about this request, such as callback and booking coordination, appointment reminders, and follow-up from the team? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
The number used is the number you are calling from, or a mobile number you provide during the call and confirm back digit by digit. Messaging begins only after you clearly agree during the call. Silence, an ambiguous answer, or a question is not consent — the caller is asked again or the request proceeds without SMS. If you decline, no marketing or follow-up text is ever sent to that number, and the decline is recorded so the question is not repeated on later calls.
3. Sample Call
The following is a representative example of how consent is requested and captured on a call. Practice name and details are illustrative.
- Caller
- Hi, I’d like to get in for a cleaning sometime next week.
- Practice (AI phone assistant)
- Happy to help with that. Can I get your first and last name, and the best number to reach you at?
- Caller
- Jordan Reyes, and this number is fine — 555-0142.
- Practice (AI phone assistant)
- Thank you. I have your callback request in for next week and the team will confirm the exact time. Before we finish — would you like to receive text messages from Riverside Dental about this request, such as callback and booking coordination, appointment reminders, and follow-up from the team? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
- Caller
- Yes, texting is easier for me.
- Practice (AI phone assistant)
- Got it — I’ve noted your consent to text you at 555-0142. You’ll get a confirmation text shortly, and you can reply STOP any time to stop them. Anything else I can help with?
Had the caller answered “no,” or anything other than a clear yes, the call would have continued identically and no text message would have been sent.
4. Confirmation Message
Immediately after verbal consent is given, a single confirmation message is sent to the consenting number so the opt-in is documented in writing on the recipient’s own device and can be reversed there:
If you did not intend to opt in, replying STOP to this first message stops all further messages.

6. Opting Out
You can revoke consent at any time, by any reasonable means. The following are honored automatically and immediately on any message we send:
- Reply STOP — also STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. One final message confirms the opt-out, and nothing further is sent to that number.
- Reply HELP — returns the practice name, contact number, and opt-out instructions.
- Tell the practice on any call, or email hello@skrypthealth.ai, and we will suppress the number on the practice’s behalf.
An opt-out suppresses the number for that practice regardless of how consent was originally collected, and it cannot be overridden by a later automated message. Re-subscribing requires a new, explicit opt-in.
7. How Consent Is Recorded and Stored
Verbal consent is not treated as consent unless it is recorded. For every opt-in we retain:
- The mobile number that consented, and the practice it consented to
- The date and time of the call, in the practice’s local time zone
- The consent decision itself — granted, declined, or later revoked — and the timestamp of any change
- The call record supporting it: the call transcript, and the call recording where the practice records calls, both viewable by the practice in the Client Hub Portal
- The version of the script in use at the time of the call
These records are held in our access-controlled infrastructure, are available to the practice that collected the consent, and are retained for as long as the number remains subscribed and thereafter for the period required by applicable law, so that any message we sent can be traced back to the consent that authorized it. Opt-in and consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and mobile numbers are never sold. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling terms and our Terms of Service for the practice-side obligations.
8. Compliance
This program is operated to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Skrypt Health acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA and as a service provider under applicable Canadian provincial health privacy legislation; message content is limited to what the patient’s own request requires.
