    Will Skrypt replace our front desk staff? +

    No — and that is by design. Skrypt handles the work that should not require a human in the first place: after-hours call answering, repetitive procedure quoting, routine appointment bookings, missed-call rescue SMS, and no-show follow-up messaging. These tasks collectively consume 40 to 60 percent of a front desk day and are the primary driver of staff burnout and turnover in clinical practices.

    What about HIPAA and PHIPA? +

    Skrypt Health is HIPAA-compliant in the United States and PHIPA-compliant in Canada. Both frameworks govern the handling of protected health information — patient names, appointment details, call transcripts, procedure history, and any PHI captured during a conversation. We treat all call data as PHI by default.

    Business Associate Agreements under HIPAA and Data Sharing Agreements under PHIPA are signed as part of standard onboarding — no separate legal process or negotiation required. All call recordings, transcripts, and PMS write-back payloads are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Audit logs covering all data access and AI interactions are available on request.

    Do you work with non-clinical businesses? +

    A small number, selectively. The core focus of Skrypt Health is clinical operations — dental, veterinary, medical, and pharmacy practices — because the compliance layer, PMS integrations, and call workflow logic were purpose-built for that vertical from day one.

    That said, the same AI infrastructure handles high-volume inbound call workflows in other industries: custom-product businesses, specialty services, home services, and other operations-heavy contexts that share the same pattern of repetitive inbound calls, procedure quoting, and appointment scheduling.

Paid plans can also be billed quarterly at a 10% discount or annually at a 20% discount — both auto-renew on the same cancellation terms.     There is no setup fee on Starter or Pro. Enterprise deployments are scoped and quoted individually. Plans include a base allocation of voice minutes and SMS per month; usage beyond that is billed at published overage rates.

    Can Skrypt sound like our practice? +

    Yes. During onboarding we configure Skrypt's voice, tone, and personality to match your practice brand. You choose from a range of voice profiles — warm, professional, clinical, casual — and we adjust pacing, phrasing, and vocabulary to match how your front desk staff actually speaks with patients.

    We configure your specific operational workflows: hours of operation, services offered, procedure pricing scripts, escalation conditions, hold and after-hours messaging, and the language used for different caller intents such as new patient inquiries, reschedules, and billing questions.

    The AI is trained on your practice knowledge base — your fee schedule, service descriptions, insurance notes, and location-specific FAQs. Most practices report that callers assume they reached a human receptionist for the first several calls after launch.

    Can we keep our existing phone number? +

    Yes. We port your existing number to Skrypt infrastructure, typically during week 2 of the onboarding timeline. The porting process takes 5 to 10 business days depending on your current carrier and account type.

    In week 1 we set up call-forwarding from your existing line to a dedicated Skrypt AI number so you have full AI call coverage from day one while the port completes — no gap in service at any point.
